Cheryl led us on a nice and informative stroll through Prospect Park. If you have an interest in learning how to identify a variety of common herbal plants in the wild and potentially use them to support your health at little to no cost, this class is worth the $25! However, I think it has limited value as a one-off. There are no hands-on exercises or take-home guides. You'll need to study on your own to get competent at foraging and also take other classes to learn how to prepare the herbs and turn them into medicinal formulas. -

This was a very practical and informative class with an experienced, personable, and laid-back instructor. The Herbal Remedies Shop in Carroll Gardens is one-of-a-kind, with a lot of a terrific offerings. Students get 10% off what's in the store, in addition to the free herbal tincture that they take home after the session. The only slight drawback for me was the narrow, crammed space where we were seated, but all-in-all it was a great value and well worth the $40. -
