Social Media Marketing I: An Introduction to Platforms, Tactics, and Tools

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the operational mechanics and key marketing and communication strategies associated with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Pinterest. Students will no longer be confused by all the hype associated with social media or overwhelmed by the prospect of tweeting, pinning, connecting, and updating their status. The course will also help business owners, professionals, and nonprofit managers understand how to hire, guide, and monitor social media professionals. In addition, participants will learn how to leverage social media to enhance their online reputation and expand their career opportunities.

Refund Policy

Refund schedule for Digital and Social Media Marketing Certificate and Human Resource Management:

1 calendar week prior to first meeting: 100% refund
After one calendar week or 1st class meeting: 50% refund
After 2nd class meetings: No refund

Refund schedule for MCAT Workshop:

100% of the cost prior to the first class meeting.
20% of the cost if you drop after the first class meeting but prior to the second class meeting.
No refund after the second class meeting.

Real Estate Refund Policy:

For six-week courses: Students are eligible for a 100% tuition refund if they withdraw from the course before the official start date. If the course has already started, the refund schedule is as follows: 50% refund if the student withdraws before the third scheduled session. No refund thereafter.
For one-week intensive courses: Students are eligible for a 100% tuition refund if they withdraw from the course before the official start date. If the intensive has already started, the refund schedule is as follows: 50% refund if the student withdraws before the third scheduled session. No refund thereafter.

All requests for withdrawals and refunds must be submitted to [email protected] and will be processed based on the date received.

Fordham University School of Professional and Continuing Studies will issue a full refund for all cancelled classes.
