Description

Search Engine Marketing: An Overview of Paid Search Advertising, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google Adwords

This course will provide an overview of the key techniques used to optimize the content on a website and landing page, including keyword research and analysis, meta tagging, link building, and blogging.

Ever since the Web was launched close to 20 years ago, business owners, online marketers, content managers, professional service providers, website developers, web masters and entrepreneurs have needed to focus attention and resources on improving their position in search engine response results and on driving traffic to their websites. Google and the other search engines are continually refining the algorithms they use to assign rankings.

Students will learn how to integrate paid search Adwords advertising, on-site optimization and social media marketing to form the core of a successful online marketing effort.

In addition, students will develop an understanding of how to use Google Analytics data to improve their online conversion rates.

Refund Policy

Refund schedule for Digital and Social Media Marketing Certificate and Human Resource Management:

1 calendar week prior to first meeting: 100% refund
After one calendar week or 1st class meeting: 50% refund
After 2nd class meetings: No refund

Refund schedule for MCAT Workshop:

100% of the cost prior to the first class meeting.
20% of the cost if you drop after the first class meeting but prior to the second class meeting.
No refund after the second class meeting.

Real Estate Refund Policy:

For six-week courses: Students are eligible for a 100% tuition refund if they withdraw from the course before the official start date. If the course has already started, the refund schedule is as follows: 50% refund if the student withdraws before the third scheduled session. No refund thereafter.
For one-week intensive courses: Students are eligible for a 100% tuition refund if they withdraw from the course before the official start date. If the intensive has already started, the refund schedule is as follows: 50% refund if the student withdraws before the third scheduled session. No refund thereafter.

All requests for withdrawals and refunds must be submitted to [email protected] and will be processed based on the date received.

Fordham University School of Professional and Continuing Studies will issue a full refund for all cancelled classes.

Definitely comprehensive. Part of a Digital Marketing Certification Course at Fordham (which I am now considering taking). The instructor is VERY knowledgeable on the material and always thoughtfully answered questions. Outside workload is minimal so it is very manageable for someone who is working full time. Great introduction to SEM. Highly Recommend.
