From ancient clay pots to modern stainless steel tanks, the evolution of wine is nothing short of fascinating. Every glass carries traces of monks, merchants, wars, and accidents spanning thousands of years. The first fermented grapes appeared in the Caucasus; the rules that still govern how wine is made and sold today came centuries later. The wine world wasn't built by chance. Join us for a journey through the key moments that shaped wine as we know it.

Class is 2 hours long, featuring an interactive format, with questions expert instructor Vitalii Dascaliuc.

What you can expect:

  • 1 Welcome wine
  • 6 Tasting pours tracing key moments in wine history.
  • Palate cleansing bread and cheese
  • A 20% discount on all wines tasted to use in-store after class

What you will learn:

  • How trade, religion, and politics shaped wine
  • Where today's major grapes and regions came from
  • Why certain wine rules and classifications exist

All class purchases are non-refundable.

Class reservations can be exchanged up to 72 hours prior to the date of the class for another class of equal or lesser value. Classes may also be transferred to another attendee by emailing [email protected] 24 hours before the start of the class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
