Great intro course! I knew nothing about my camera. Now I feel like I have a good understanding. Be sure to bring your laptop because you’ll need to take a lot of notes quickly. Only thing is that I wish is that the classes were broken up into once a week, as opposed to back to back. -

Intro to DSLR and Mirrorless Photography
Great Teacher. I learned a lot about photography and a lot about the DLSR. There were small challenges throughout the class that not only helped me in a practical way, but actually got me more enthused to start photography. -
Crash Course: DSLR+
It was just really well-taught - covering content which could address all of our needs (as we all had different backgrounds/reasons for being there), also lots of useful analogies and tips to ground theory in pragmatism. While there was a lot of info to take away in, especially after a long day at work, I do actually feel like I've been able to retain just about all of it, and more importantly, left the class feeling pumped to get out there and start practicing rather than being overwhelmed. Well worth it! -

Photography: How to Use Your Digital SLR
I was worried that a six hour class was going to be very tedious, but the teacher was very engaging and funny. The class size was small so everyone received a certain level of individual attention. I learned a ton and am looking forward to taking another class. -
DSLR 101
The instructor, Phil, was extremely patient and encouraging . He knew everything about the topic and taught at just the right pace to let us beginners grasp the topic and reach for just a little more information . Phil is a wonderful teacher and very personable . After I practice what Phil taught me about picture taking, I look forward to a follow-up class with him . - Elena -

DSLR 101
Teacher (Adam) was excellent. Easy going, knowledgeable and articulate. Curriculum, definitely enough to help you get started, probably some more granular detail that might be fun. Facility - random location, a cafe in Sty Town, but worked out great given the class was very small. -
DSLR 101
Great class that I would highly recommend for anyone who is new to photography. I learned the basics of photography and how to use my camera. The instructor was very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure we understood the concepts and were able to use the different functions of our individual cameras. -
Crash Course: DSLR+
I was very impressed with the organization of the course. The teacher explained the basics of photography - via camera obscura and daguerrotypes - and then easily segued into DSLR. We covered a lot of ground - shutter priority, aperture priority, white balance,, etc - but he presented the material in a clear consistent manner. The class was chock full of info and the entire three hours was devoted to teaching, asking questions, and using the camera. The teacher exhibited a deep knowledge of all types of cameras. I only wish he had given us a one page take away with some of the info he covered on the white board. It would have been great reference material . The facilities were terrific - edgy, professionial, interesting art on the walls. 5 stars -
Crash Course: DSLR+
Charles (instructor) was very informative and taught us the basics of DSLR in a simple, yet entertaining, manner. I would highly suggest this course if you have no photography experience but want to learn how your camera works as well as learning how to take pictures away from the auto setting. I would definitely take another course from this instructor and this studio.
