Description
The DSLR 101 workshops will offer 4 hours of instruction for people who have stepped up to a digital SLR camera or are planning to make the move. Students will learn how to benefit from the greater power, versatility and precision of digital SLR cameras.
Instructors will also provide tips on building a camera/lens system that suits their special individual interests.

Take this course if you:
- Just purchased a digital SLR camera
- Know how to use your point and shoot camera and want to apply the same knowledge to DSLR cameras
- Want to learn to make simple and creative changes to your pictures using photoshop elements and photoshop cs3
- Want to learn all the base knowledge about your digital SLR camera. before taking an advanced class.
Refund Policy
- Notify us prior to the Wednesday before the weekend of your workshop to receive a refund less 5% cancellation fee.
- Later cancellations will not be refunded and reschedule will require a $30 rescheduling fee.
Please note – if a class must be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control we will be happy to work with you to reschedule. If you should need to cancel and require a new class date, contact us. A $25 transfer fee will be imposed without a 3 day notice before the scheduled class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

He knew everything about the topic and taught at just the right pace to let us beginners grasp the topic and reach for just a little more information . Phil is a wonderful teacher and very personable . After I practice what Phil taught me about picture taking, I look forward to a follow-up class with him .

Teacher (Adam) was excellent. Easy going, knowledgeable and articulate.
Curriculum, definitely enough to help you get started, probably some more granular detail that might be fun.
Facility - random location, a cafe in Sty Town, but worked out great given the class was very small.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure we understood the concepts and were able to use the different functions of our individual cameras.
