What you'll learn in this dslr class:
It's a smart, one-shot introduction to digital photography, and a good place to explore the fundamentals of your camera. We'll get you up and running quickly, showing you how to correct basic problems like photos that are too dark or too light, out of focus, blurry, off-balance and other common issues.
Who should take this class?
Anyone who would like to quickly improve your familiarity and understanding of your digital camera's basic functions and features.

Anyone who would like to quickly improve your familiarity and understanding of your digital camera's basic functions and features.
Preparations and Materials:
- Be in a weather-appropriate attire for going outside.
- Bring charged batteries (and spare if possible), and a clean memory card.
- Bring your digital camera, including DSLR, mirror-less, micro 4/3 systems. If your camera has the option for manual control of aperture, shutter speed and ISO, it should be suitable for this class.

A: All ages are welcome.
Refund Policy
- Students must give notification 4 business days or more in advance to receive full refund less 5% cancellation fee or transfer credit.
- Request made within 4 business days will be charged a 25% withdrawal fee.
- No refunds granted after the beginning of class.
For multi-week classes:
- Cancellation up to 4 business days prior to the first class - 95% refund.
- Cancellation after 1st class - 100% refund less a 25% withdrawal fee.
- Cancellation after the 2nd class - 50% refund.
- NO REFUNDS beyond the 2nd class
The date the email is sent will determine eligibility for a refund. All approved refunds may take up to four weeks to process. We cannot be responsible for providing refunds for classes or programs missed as a result of student illness, student emergencies, or events beyond our control.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

It was just really well-taught - covering content which could address all of our needs (as we all had different backgrounds/reasons for being there), also lots of useful analogies and tips to ground theory in pragmatism. While there was a lot of info to take away in, especially after a long day at work, I do actually feel like I've been able to retain just about all of it, and more importantly, left the class feeling pumped to get out there and start practicing rather than being overwhelmed. Well worth it!

The venue is in the basement of an industrial building in DUMBO and could use some proper A/C and ventilation. Otherwise a terrific class.

Our class was too easily distracted (due to our own excitement) by the differences in our physical cameras/brands, but luckily it was because we (instructor included) had created a safe space where no question was offhand. I feel lucky to have had the instructor we got, he was the best! I'd love to take from him again!
