Description
You have ideas for a story or scene, but how do you express movement through drawings? What makes the illustrations in a comic book or graphic novel jump off the page and place you right in the action?
Join author and illustrator JG Koratzanis for an introductory class focusing on techniques used in drawing for comic books and graphic novels. The class will begin with a drawing demonstration and instruction, and will be followed by a discussion on the process of turning his first novel, Repentant, into a graphic novel. Repentant will be available for sale after class, and Koratzanis will be on hand to sign copies and answer any additional questions.

School Notes:
OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. QED has coffee, tea, soda, beer & wine plus snacks and pre-made wraps and sandwiches available.
Refund Policy
- We require at least 8 business days notice before a class in order to issue a refund less 5% cancellation fee and there are no transfers to future classes allowed.
- Tickets are transferable meaning we will allow anyone to take your place in class, so check around with your friends to see if someone else would like your spot.
In case of bad weather, classes WILL always take place unless the subway system is closed down. If you have issues traveling, please keep this in mind when you purchase your ticket. If the school do cancel for an emergency, we will try to reschedule the class on the same day of the week at the same scheduled time as soon as possible. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, we will refund you the price of your seat.
