Learn the fundamentals of creative portfolio development through observation of still life and portraits. Students will be introduced to various mediums, such as graphite, water-soluble pastels, watercolors, & acrylic paintings. This class is deal for students entering grade level and applying to art institutions, such as Mark Twain.
Wednesday Apr 1st, 4pm - 6:30pm(4 sessions)
Learn the basic steps of drawing and sketching the body in both genders. Hard points are studied along with head renderings and constructive format for poses. Small and large displays will be rendered using graphite, pencil, conte, pens and ink.
Wednesday Apr 1st, 7pm - 9:45pm(4 sessions)
Learn how to utilize varying grades of graphite and pencil, from light to medium to dark. Establish fine shading techniques and hone fine pencil mechanics through still life and objective studies.
Thursday Apr 2nd, 4pm - 6:45pm(4 sessions)
This Teen art instruction will introduce graded graphites and light to dark charcoals. Techniques will be presented, such as pencil mechanics, perspective, & various amounts of shading.

In this class you will be taught all the basics to animation and learn how to make your drawings come to life. You will not only learn traditional paper and pencil animation but other types of animation as well such as: Claymation, stop motion, sand animation, and much more. Students are kindly asked to please bring a USB flash drive to class.
