I have always felt stressed when leading meetings, and taking this training made me understand that I get stressed because I did not know how to prepare. The Parle team were really great at helping me improve my public speaking skills (though I have always been a decent public speaker). What is most valuable is that they teach a specific, business style framework to use when preparing to deliver a presentation or to lead a meeting. The framework is clear, straightforward and succinct, and can be used for any business presentation (as we saw in the course, which was attended by people from different backgrounds and industries). It's actually crazy to me that I never was taught this in grad school. Thumbs up! This is game changing. -
2-Day Presentation Skills Bootcamp
Excellent hands-on training for professional presentations! Eloise and Oleg do a really good job of showing you how you currently look and sound, and how much better you come across after implementing specific changes. The explanations for why certain strategies work is great, but the real gold is seeing how it makes a difference when you and the other students try them out in real time. Most of us used presentations we were actually working on to practice with, and I actually ended up giving mine to a big client after the class. It made a huge difference! I definitely recommend this class if your job involves (or might involve) presenting or leading meetings. -
