  Jamiel is an amazing instructor! He covered so much material in such a short time - and I walked away having met all my learning goals. He's patient with newcomers - and he's funny when trying to guide you towards the right way to conceptualize ideas. The class will be a bit challenging for someone who has never looked at code at all before, but for anyone who knows the general concepts around Python, MySQL, HTML/CSS, Flask and how web apps sorta work - you'll walk way with so much full-stack knowledge, you'll definitely no longer call yourself just a beginner. Jamiel also went into some advanced concepts in blockchain and data science (like pandas and scikit) which I really appreciated. And finally, he assigned us some HW to be done after the week is done, which if completed - will make you a total Python bad@ss!

  I enrolled in this course as I had recently moved to the US to be the HR Generalist for a start-up. The course was a fantastic introduction and overview of US and NYS HR Law/regulation and I am much more confident in my role with this newfound knowledge. Dr Chartier was an outstanding teacher who presented the content in a clear, concise, and entertaining way. He was more than happy to answer questions throughout the class and after class. Really happy I attended this course!

  I am a book publisher and was very happy with the Certificate in Web Design at Noble Desktop. Web Development 1 and 2 helped me manage my website. Photoshop for Web & UI expanded my capabilities. I not only understood the files coming in but could work on the files too, if needed. This gave me greater control of our projects. Mobile & responsive design emphasized mobile first. As a result, I held off redoing our main site while I thought through how to apply everything I learned. I would highly recommend Noble Desktop. Great school!!

  I was in magazine design and production, but once the industry started contracting, I knew I needed to learn new skills, including web design and web development. I gave myself a project to design and develop a full-blown website, with tons of functionality and animation. The site was BOAST: Best of Astoria (boast.nyc). I started taking Noble Desktop's web design and web development classes every time I ran into an issue I could not figure out myself. Not only did I get the issue solved with help from the instructors, but I learned new things in the classes as well. I also found that the way the courses were taught, with the instructor giving the demo, and then the students doing the same thing, really helped me learn the material. By the time the website was getting close to complete, I had taken almost all of the web design and web development classes, so I figured I would complete the certificate programs and learn some new skills and programs. Also, by signing up for the web design or web development certificate programs, I was able to go to the meetup, where an instructor would give suggestions and troubleshoot any issues we might be having we our projects. This was incredibly helpful as well. I still go back to take other classes and go to seminars at Noble Desktop.

  I enrolled in the Web Design certificate program after following the free lectures and demos for a while. The information is demoed and follows an exercise that is in a workbook that they have created. After the demo, students then do the same exercise using files made specifically for that class. Because I live a distance away, the remote option fit for me. They offer many times for the same class which can accommodate a variety of schedules. The workbooks are invaluable, easy to follow and understand, and you can download a new version if one becomes available. The exercise files made it easy to get up and running, rather than spend all your time typing to get to the meat of the task. The remote class is delivered via Go to Meeting, and the ability to take screen shots of what you see is a good option. You see the instructors screen - what is projected live in the onsite classroom. You can retake classes within a 6 month period. You can also just buy a workbook for whatever class they offer, which comes with downloadable exercise files that are used in the book. Their instructors are knowledgeable professionals working in the industry. All in all I have enjoyed the process, and would recommend it to anyone looking to add to their skills.

The content is extremely practical; it's not a test to screen out who should be admitted to MIT or not. They've spent over 20 years perfecting the course materials, and it shows. The materials become your reference manual that you can refer to as you implement upgrades to your own website. Don't waste your money elsewhere, this is the place to go. The owner and teachers are fully committed to your success. They allow repeats and host a Meetup for those in the program to get help and exchange ideas. Noble has your back, while other programs thank you for your money and forget you after their profits clear. Also, you can take the classes that you want to without being forced to take an entire bootcamp.

Although we were both familiar with this program from years of working with it, we were seeking Apple Certification. We were both impressed and pleased with the course structure and instruction that we received. We were also impressed with the knowledge level of our instructor, Beau Tardy, and the exceptional and comfortable atmosphere that Future Media Concepts, Inc. provided. As employees of MiND TV, we not only use Final Cut Pro for our own work, we also train members of our television station on how to use the program. I went back at the start of the Fall Semester of '15 as a part-time student, where I apply myself to the the schedule I set up myself. The courses were simple, I followed the syllabi to the "T". It was worth it and the Faculty & Staff are nice.
