What you'll learn in this leadership training:
What are the barriers to full legal equality for women in the US? Women have made great progress in the fight for legal equality. However, women continue to face legal discrimination and attacks on their fundamental human rights including reproductive justice, marriage equality and its alternatives, and sexual liberty.
Join us to hear about the forces driving these inequalities and what can and needs to be done. This event is open to all people of all gender identities and expressions. All are welcome!
What You’ll Learn:
- How, in 2019, U.S. law does not grant equal protection to women’s rights
- What are the opportunities to achieve gender equality in our legal system
- Strategies to promote and advocate for women’s rights, even if you’re not a legal expert
- Career opportunities for women working in legal equality
- The role male allies play in supporting equal rights

In addition to gaining a better understanding of how you can make an impact through your career and life, you’ll also have an opportunity to build your network by connecting with like-motivated people from the Be Social Change community.

SCHEDULE
- 8:00 – 8:30 am – Doors open, guests arrive and breakfast is served
- 8:30 – 9:00 am – Brief meditation + Interview
- 9:00 – 9:30 am – Q&A + Closing
Refund Policy
- Refunds less 5% cancellation fee can be issued with cancellation up to 3 business days prior to the start of the event.
- Reschedule also allowed up to 3 business days prior to the start of the event.
If the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
