Hands down the best class I've ever taken. Jody Gray created a wonderfully talented, supportive community. The entirety of class time was spent effectively each week, through analyzing examples and discussing technique, among other things. Jody was very knowledgable and prepared to answer any questions. Listening to student's work every week was inspirational and motivational, and sharing your own work was safe in the classroom. I'll be taking level 2 with Jody next semester. -

The class was great. I just wish there was more time to write and practice (it was pretty much only theoretical, with the exception of 2 exercises). The instructor was knowledgeable and warm, and overall I had a great time in this course, and found it very useful for my songwriting practice. -
