What you'll learn in this song writing class:
Do your lyrics need a jumpstart? Do you want a collection of new writing exercises and tricks to tuck into your toolbox? As every writer knows, there is nothing more daunting than the dreaded blank page. But what if you didn’t have to start from nothing? What if the strange, beloved stories you’ve known all your life could act as your guide?
In this hands-on workshop for lyricists and poets, alike, we’ll be doing a series of generative writing exercises to produce new versions of classic fairytales and folktales, as well as exploring enchanted tropes to help you create wholly original legends of your own. Walk into class with a blank page, and walk out with brand new writing! Open to all experience and skill levels.

Refund Policy
- Full refund less 5% cancellation fee or full credit for another session of classes are available until 4 business days before your 1st class begins.
- If you cancel your registration 2 business days before your 1st or 2nd class begins, a partial prorated school credit can be given.
- If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no credit is available.
The school reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration.
If the school cancel a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will be notified by email and/or phone before the class start date, and we will issue school credit. If you would like a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a refund. In the event of a canceled class, we would love to help you find an alternate instrument to learn!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
