Join a Murray’s expert for a deep dive into pairing red wine with a wide array of exceptional cheeses.

From smooth and juicy to bold and earthy, the complex, varied flavors of red wine are good friends to cheese. In this guided tasting, you’ll explore a diverse array of red wines alongside a Murray’s expert, who will take you through one-of-a-kind cheeses that pair beautifully with each beverage. With fun facts, tasty cheeses, and plenty of delicious discoveries, this cozy class will leave you inspired to sip and slice all season long.

Format: guided tasting with a Murray’s expert in our classroom
Includes: 4 cheeses, signature accompaniments
Beverages: 4 red wines

Additional Information

In-person classes take place in the classrooms located at our Bleecker Street store. Our classrooms are located upstairs and downstairs at our venue and are therefore not wheelchair accessible.

During some of our classes, our content team and/or partners may be filming for social media purposes.

Refund Policy

Murray's Cheese will no longer be offering refunds / credit for the classes.
Students are allowed to transfer tickets up to 24 hours before the event, but no refunds will be granted.
Under extenuating circumstances, please let us know the reasoning and we will grant refunds where we see fit
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Cheese & Red Wine Tasting

The teachers were very knowledgeable and shared a good amount of information. The class would have been more fun if they allowed a few minutes on each pairing for interaction between the students. I have been to a class before that offered a small second taste of your favorite at the end and let students discuss and mingle which adds a nice social element. Cheeses were delicious and the class was really informative on how they are made. Wines were not great. I would not purchase any of them.
