Discover the art of modern calligraphy in this beginner-friendly workshop. Under the guidance of Margaret Fu from Wispy Letters, you'll learn the basics of hand lettering, practice writing the alphabet, and develop your unique style. By the end, you'll create personalized hand-lettered art pieces or greeting cards. All tools and materials are provided for a seamless creative experience.

Description
We will take a series of steps by adding flourishes to the capitals — building to more elaborate designs. We will then combine the capitals with the lower case alphabet and other capitals. We will learn the appropriate curves and shapes — balancing them with other letters. A working knowledge of Copperplate/Spencerian will help.

- nibs such as Gilliot 303 or EF66 with a holder
- pad of 9x12 Borden & Riley layout bond or the equivalent Sumi ink - non waterproof
- HB pencil, eraser
