Make Your Own Watercolor: Rare Earths, Minerals and Historic Pigments
The “Rare Earths and Minerals” version of Make Your Own Watercolors, offers a selection of Historic and Kremer-Made pigments.
This selection includes pigments like:
- Lapis Lazuli
- Cote D’Azur Violet
- Peach Black
- Bister
- Gold Ochre from Saxony
- Red Ochre from Andalusia
Watercolor paint preserves the individual traits of these very special pigments. See and feel the difference between a delicate sparkling Malachite and a smooth and fine Russian Green Earth. We'll have selection of about 30 pigments. Participants will choose their favorites and make a 14-color full pan set! Includes a metal palette that doubles as a carrying case.
Keep in mind that these paints will be liquid/fragile at the end of the class. It is possible to take them with you right after the class, but we do recommend allowing them to dry for a couple of days at the shop before coming back to take them home.
Bring the following:
