We are not a university; but we offer a superb WordPress class for non-technical individuals and small business owners who are looking for a low-cost alternative to getting a website and/or blog.
Great Class and Instruction.
Terry is a terrific and knowledgeable instructor
I liked the instructor but the class is too short for so much information and there were only 4 people including myself but space for 2 more and everyone has questions so I feel 6 might be to big a size. Not all questions get answered until the end and things can feel over whelming with just a a 3 hour class.
Terry is really knows his stuff. Very aprochable instructor. Even I had sempaty for her condition one of attendee brought her few month baby with a stroller plus she did not bring her laptop.
I loved it,
Small class so able to learn as we went along. Very professional and worthwhile.
Learned more than i expected, and info was given in a clear way that I didnt feel info overload.
This class was a great intro to wordpress!
Such a great class! Terry was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I was looking to move my blog from blogger to wordpress, and he helped along the entire way. My only advice to potential students: come into the class understanding basics for a website or blog. A few students around me left confused and I think their knowledge of using a blog or website was very limiting. This is a class for someone who is really looking to build a site with some understanding of what it takes to use a website.
The instructor was great! One star off because the class attendees were on various levels of experience, and as a result I could not get the attention and time needed to grasp all the information shared. Myself and one other had zero experience on Word Press, the other people had more experience, and they had lots of questions on advance issues that confused me and distracted the instructor throughout the class; one person wanted use Word Press for commerce and not blogging and she complained about that the entire time, another had already established a blog and needed to transfer her information from Blogger. However, Terry was great about helping everyone, and getting back to the class curriculum. I had to interject a few times when I was stuck/confused to get some attention. I feel like I will need to go back with a one on one, based on my needs, once I have my content ready for a blog I want to launch this year. Being in a class situation with people of different experiences, makes the learning and execution too fragmented. Kudos to Terry for managing the class, but newbies need a little bit more of his time and help than what was given.
