Loved the course and it gave you a real insight into interior design, wish it was longer!!! Pamela was also an excellent teacher, always supportive and there to answer questions if you weren’t sure.
Excellent, very helpful course! Promotes thinking about your business strategically and defining distinct revenue streams. Highly recommend!
Frank has great command of the material he is teaching, but struggles to attend to a group of students who are progressing at different rates.
Instructor was too fast. No real takeaways.
LOVED this course. I just wanted to dip my toe in Interior Design and this was the perfect one to do it. We mostly listened to Don Kossar's design 101 and principles/theory of Interior Design while taking notes, with two projects throughout - we each re-designed a space with accurate measurements and had to plan furniture layouts, and then worked on design boards for the final project. Don makes it clear from the beginning that you can do "as much or as little" of the project as you want, and that the key thing is to have fun doing it. Don is also a hilarious old school New Yorker - in six weeks, he gives a delightful "quick version" overview of the world of Interior Design, and makes an otherwise normal subject pretty amusing and fun with his various stories and examples from his years in the field. It was a wonderful summer brain break with zero stress. Take the class with Don!
A lot of material packed into these classes! If you're at all interested in Interior Design this is the best option to get your pallet wet. For the cost of the class I wish it were another 2 weeks.
Well rounded course, instructor was very knowledgeable and fun. Learned a lot.
Great way to start if you’d like to get a feel about what interior designing is really about. Intense 6 weeks but fun because you get to work on a project like a true ID!
It was a good introduction class to color studies. I especially enjoyed picking through the images and analyzing the color combinations.
