The Fashion Class

The school began as a summer camp in Brooklyn NY. Today, the school operates in six locations throughout NYC, Brooklyn, Long Island and upstate NY.

They offer classes for children ages 6-13 years old and teenagers 13-18 years old in the areas of fashion design, sewing, and accessory design. Their courses run for 10 weeks throughout the school year with after school and weekend class options.

Students take home what they’ve made throughout the course and all supplies are included. Plus each class ends with a free fashion show for family and friends.

Students learn how to sew and draw fashion by actually working on projects. They learn how to conceptualize clothing and make it come to life either on paper or with the sewing machine.

The school has excellent instructors who currently work in the industry as apparel, costume, and accessory designers as well as fashion illustrators whose clients range from Sesame Street to Target.
