Description
I have been an artist my whole life and have been teaching visual arts for the past 17 years.
The first 5 years were spent teaching junior high art in Seattle and the past 12 years in NYC high schols. Currently I teach Drawing, Painting, Design, at History, & Yearbook at one of the city's top art schools.
I love guiding young people through creative ideas and the satisfaction of completing a successful work of art.
My own work takes the form of video art or painting enamel on various materials such as plexiglass, mirror or fine china.
I am interested in the dynamic relationships between the formal elements of art and the informal world in which we live.
