The Culinary Training Institute offers recreational programs and special events for those looking for a fun hands-on learning experience. Guests learn with a Professional Chef Instructor and enjoy the culinary delights afterwards in a family style atmosphere.
The class was great! The chef was informative, confident, and was able to give helpful tips to prepare the meal. Our food was great and it’s really a fun class. Definitely worth the price. Perfect for date nights or a girls night out!
We had a really good time. We started off with wine and cheese, and ended the evening with some more wine and really yummy food! The chef was really knowledgeable, funny, and eager to answer questions. Two of his students were also there to help, and they were great too! I'm not sure if the menu is always the same, but we made meatballs, puffed pastry stuffed with cheese, shrimp, potato frittata, and bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with roasted nuts. One of the intentions behind the class is to expose us to fairly straightforward dishes that we could make ourselves at home. One of the things you should know going in is that each couple is responsible for one dish, but you can always float around to the other stations to take notes or ask questions about the other dishes. Super fun! Was very happy to receive this as a Valentine's gift from my partner.
It was very enjoyable. Chef made it fun and educational, discussing foods history as well as the history of the foods you’ll be preparing that class. Everyone cooked an item on a very impressive menu. We learned technique and use of proper tools. Highly recommend.
The instructor and other cooks were very nice, helpful, and informative. Would deffinitley reccomend.
Loved the class learned a lot of new things and cooking techniques. I wish we did more cooking during the class time, we ended up spending quite a bit of time just waiting. Overall, great teacher and I’m very happy with the class.
The chef was great, very personable and worked a lot of stories into the experience. The menu was amazing and the cause behind the company seems very positive. The reason for 4/5 stars is that we didn't produce enough of everything (e.g. some people didn't get steak or lobster) and the wine ran out before the end of the night. While they did add ambiance like flowers on the table, we were essentially eating in a classroom so the setting wasn't very romantic for a Valentine's Day dinner. It was also a little disorganized getting all of the utensils we needed, etc. Overall, we still enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot!
Chef Lee was an amazing teacher and host. He class was fun and we learned a lot. We’d take another class with him again any time!
Diego and his students Nicole and Jonathan were amazing! Diego was so knowledgeable and loved sharing his passion for food and wine with the class. The students were really helpful and answered all of our questions. The food was incredible and the experience overall was more than expected. We are definitely planning on coming back for another class.
Amazing class. BYOB was an option. Learned a lot and there was a lot of food. Come hungry!
This class was amazing! Chef Jorge was incredible, inviting and super professional. You could tell how much he loves his craft and wants to share it with other people. Would definitely recommend !
