At Nazz Forge, we believe that students should be given the time to learn the fundamental blacksmithing skills needed to create the projects of their dreams. We focus on ensuring each student walks home with something they are proud of, whether it is developing a new skill, or a finished knife or sword. It doesn’t matter how ambitious a student is, or what experience they may have, at Nazz Forge, each student is given the tools, knowledge, and freedom to make something that speaks to them. 2019 we moved into Industry City, where we grew our shop and equipment to accommodate more students and a variety of new classes. To guarantee our mission stands true, we design our classes to be completed over several non-consecutive days so that each student takes the proper time and care with each part of the blacksmithing process.

We would rather you take an extra day than rush your work. Be proud of it, you made it.

Great class! Devon was an awesome and patient instructor with a great balance of helpful tips and encouragement! We ran behind but he took the time to be sure we left with very cool, finished bottles openers. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an intro to blacksmithing. So much fun!

Theo is not just an incredible bladesmith but he is a wonderful teacher as well. He takes the time to explain why you need to do, not just what you have to do so you have a greater understanding of the entire blacksmithing process. He truly cares that you walk away with a finished blade that is not only functional, but exactly what you wanted to make. I've made a couple of blades under his instruction and I cannot wait to go back, time and time again, to improve my own skills and create more epic knives and swords.

If you are interested in learning to forge a knife, this is the class for you. The instructor for this class, Theo Nazz is fantastic. He is very open to letting students create the type of knife they want to create. His expertise in bladesmithing is obvious and he easily brings you through each step of forging. I was very impressed with his teaching ability. Theo made me feel very comfortable doing something I had never done before. I had a great time forging.

We had a great time learning to forge a knife with Theo Nazz. Theo is a great teacher and he has a good sense of humor. He's very attentive and explains each step of the process. If you are looking to try something new, this is the class for you. It's awesome that we had the opportunity to learn from a Forged in Fire winner!
