Welcome to Ceramics on 10th! Your local ceramic studio located at 756 10th Avenue on the east side of 10th (right hand if traveling north) between 51st and 52nd street in Manhattan, state of New York, USA.

Ceramics on 10th is an offspring of Pottery NYC; the biggest difference between the two being that Ceramics on 10th has stronger wheels, higher temperature firings, and the ability to book on weekends.

I had so much fun in this class! It’s definitely trial and error to get a feel for it but I found it really enjoyable and satisfying. The instructor was very nice and have very clear directions. I’m looking forward to seeing my pieces fully glazed next week.

This was my first time doing wheel throwing. I attended with a small group for a birthday party. It was fun and hands-on and felt like a proper art course, not just a gimmick. However, I found it difficult to execute the techniques that the instructor showed, and I would have done better if the instructor had a few extra minutes to work directly with me or to do the demos more up close.

Booked pottery class for 4 on a Sunday for me and my sisters, no one was at the studio and it was fully closed. I tried to reach out to the studio with no answer, also reached out to coursehorse for a refund with no answer. $350 down the drain.

Loved this course! For a true beginner, Nick made this approachable, fun, and very educational! I wish it was a longer course and am going to look into the 6 week option. It's a great overview of the process of pottery throwing from start to finish one time through. Highly recommend!
