At Brooklyn Charm, you are the designer. With hundreds of chains and thousands of charms, each design is unique. Whether we are assembling a piece of jewelry for you or you are taking the supplies home to make your own jewelry: you are guaranteed to walk away with an individualized creation.
Brooklyn Charm opened its storefront in 2010 in the heart of the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, NY. It also operates pop up booths in various New York arts-and-crafts festivals and markets throughout the year.
A combination of metals, charms, and visionary thinking allowed Brooklyn Charm to reimagine itself from an internet supply business to an interactive jewelry store. Over the last two years, the Williamsburg business has been featured in television and print media because of its unique method of asking patrons to design and build their own jewelry. The staff members help customers pick through the vast array of chains and charms to create custom one-of-a-kind pieces. The store also offers many exceptional hand-made accessories and hosts jewelry-making classes often.
A large portion of the store is dedicated to rare materials found nowhere else in New York, such as: taxidermy, rare gemstones, materials and oddities from around the world, as well as vintage dead stock materials that are no longer in production. There is an implied guarantee at Brooklyn Charm: customers will leave with a completely customized piece of jewelry.
I really enjoyed the class! It was relaxing and there was no pressure at all. Only downside was that the space was cold. Great overall! You get a discount at the store after which is great.
Excellent class! Love the instructor Tavia!!! She rocked! I had a million questions and she had a million answers! Thank you!
Loved the class, loved Tavia, loved the necklace that I made. Great straightforward class and Tavia was excellent and clear with her instructions. Would recommend this class to people.
Tavia was wonderful - easy to listen to and very easy to follow. Loved the class and would do it again and recommend it to others for sure.
Very informative; the instructor was great - she was able to give individual attention to those of us who needed it!
Class was great! Learned a lot and loved what I made!
Tavia was great! She is extremely helpful, informative and fun. Doesn't try to over complicate and allows you to do your thing but there to assist when needed. I feel confident enough to start practicing wiring on my own. I am someone who has absolutely no experience is jewelry making whatsoever. It was a pleasure having my first experience with Tavia. Thank you!
Class was super fun and I like what I learned and made. I will take additional classes.
I love this class, trivia is awesome teacher!
Tavia is a great instructor! Very knowledgeable, patient.
