At Brooklyn Charm, you are the designer. With hundreds of chains and thousands of charms, each design is unique. Whether we are assembling a piece of jewelry for you or you are taking the supplies home to make your own jewelry: you are guaranteed to walk away with an individualized creation.
Brooklyn Charm opened its storefront in 2010 in the heart of the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, NY. It also operates pop up booths in various New York arts-and-crafts festivals and markets throughout the year.
A combination of metals, charms, and visionary thinking allowed Brooklyn Charm to reimagine itself from an internet supply business to an interactive jewelry store. Over the last two years, the Williamsburg business has been featured in television and print media because of its unique method of asking patrons to design and build their own jewelry. The staff members help customers pick through the vast array of chains and charms to create custom one-of-a-kind pieces. The store also offers many exceptional hand-made accessories and hosts jewelry-making classes often.
A large portion of the store is dedicated to rare materials found nowhere else in New York, such as: taxidermy, rare gemstones, materials and oddities from around the world, as well as vintage dead stock materials that are no longer in production. There is an implied guarantee at Brooklyn Charm: customers will leave with a completely customized piece of jewelry.
Great class! The process was really easy to understand and the teacher was a delight! She was very knowledgeable in jewelry. I had good time and will be practicing more with teacher’s technique!
Really liked the class. Learned new skills. I want to take more classes.
Fun class. Great teacher. She was was encouraging and informative.
I liked the idea of the class, making earrings. The shop was great and the space and materials for the class were great too. However, the instructor, Natalie, kept talking about how much time I have left. This went throughput the class, with every little question I had about making the earrings, she kept checking the clock and telling me that I have to hurry up. She is not a bad instructor but she was so obsessed with how much time we have left that it became a big part of my experience. I would do this again but not with her. Yuval
Absolutely adored the class. The teacher gave us so many options and all of our final products were different and reflected each of us uniquely!
Anna is a great and patient teacher. This course went above and beyond my greatest expectations. If you have always wanted to start learning beading, Anna tells you everything you need to know in under 2 hours.
Great class. Miss Anna was very patient and thorough. I had a good time.
This class was a wonderful intro to jewelry making and the teacher was fantastic. I definitely would take another class!
Brooklyn Charm is a welcoming space with amazing staff and great teacher! I can’t wait to take another class with them!!!
So much fun! The instructor was friendly & taught in a clear, fun way.
