We had a wonderful time in Shawn Wickens's stand-up comedy class. From the beginning, Shawn was warm and supportive, helping us think about comedy, writing, and storytelling, and gave us fun exercises to practice in front of the audience. This was a great use of our time, and a really fun way to practice stand-up, and just to get public speaking practice in general, in an intimate and warm environment.

I showed up but there was no access to get to the 2nd floor for the class. The elevator was working at every floor except the 2nd. I tried to get off at the 3rd floor and use the stairs to get to the 2nd but it was just an emergency exit. I even tried banging on that door but no response. I went back outside and buzzed the 2nd floor again but their was no response

Complete waste of time. I was the only on who showed up, so it was just me and the instructor in a coffee shop having a conversation about comedy. I traveled about an hour each way and paid for that? I thought it was going to be a class, but it was the same as meeting a friend for coffee. There were other things I could have done with that time.
