I took this class with my sister--we were both novices. The studio is in the south Bronx, and we parked on the street with no problem. Alex's fiber arts are on display in the studio and he is clearly a talented fiber artist! We brought many dyeable garments/items to the class: sneakers, shirts, beach towels, napkins, and a garland. Alex was enthusiastic and supportive of our ideas, and shared his extensive knowledge with us to help us execute our projects. We ran over the two-hour time allotment, but Alex was fine with that. We thoroughly enjoyed the class, and felt it was great value! Had an early dinner after class at nearby Pio Pio--excellent. We took our wet projects home--won't see the results until tomorrow, but I am optimistic!
