In this interactive course, learn how to assemble a color-coordinated collection of fabrics, rugs and trimmings. Explore natural and man-made fibers and a variety of textile construction from printed fabrics to hand knotted rugs. Experiment with mixing patterns, textures and colors to create a rich interior environment.
Learn how to choose an appropriate upholstery fabric as well as fabrics for window treatments. During this course students are encouraged to visit industry showrooms and create a fabric scheme of their own.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Fees are nontransferable. Registration and technology fees (applied to creditbearing courses) are nonrefundable, and a drop fee applies to dropped credit‐bearing courses resulting in a refund.
Refunds must be requested at least ONE FULL WEEK PRIOR TO THE FIRST SESSION or no refund is permissible.

Online learning students will participate in active discussions with their fellow students and the instructor. Online learning students will need access to a computer (with audio capability such as speakers or headphones), scanner, and digital camera. Student projects are assembled in either PowerPoint (Windows operating system) or Keynote (Mac operating system) format.
