Discover the joy of bluegrass jamming at The Jalopy Theatre and School of Music. No experience necessary - just bring your guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, or dobro and get ready to join in the fun! Learn to play with confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment.
All bluegrass instruments welcome. No jamming experience necessary. You will be jamming in the first class! Friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable teaching. Hands-on learning in large and small groups Gentle tempos! Mistakes expected! Music/tab reading not needed or used. Singing not required, but encouraged and taught. Soloing not required! “Faking” solos taught.
Do you qualify? It’s easier than you may think! If you play guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, or dobro… you can be part of a bluegrass jam.
Only requirements - be able to:
Tune your instrument and Change smoothly between G, C, D, and A (or the notes that work on bass and fiddle)
The school reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration.
If the school cancel a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will be notified by email and/or phone before the class start date, and we will issue school credit. If you would like a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a refund. In the event of a canceled class, we would love to help you find an alternate instrument to learn!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
