The objective of the workshop is to create, rehearse and shoot a feature film in 8 weeks. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, American Film Institute and British Film Institute categorize feature-length films as 40 min or more. But we’re aiming for 70 min.
Participants will brainstorm, write, act in, help shoot and become associate producers of the finished product.
Why a Feature Film in 8 weeks? Deadlines create opportunities to complete goals. Obstacles make for an exciting creative environment.
Genre for this Session: Comedy, Narrative or Anthology
The Material will depend on who enrolls. It will be a combination of us. We'll see what we get.
(our first feature film experiment is in post-production)
School will reach out for background information after enrolling.
