What you'll learn in this swing class:
Please join us for the basics of swing dancing and lindy hop! No partner or experience necessary, just bring your comfortable shoes and happy feet!!
We will meet every week so that you will be comfortable with the basic steps of swing dancing. We will rotate partners frequently during the lesson so you will instantly make lots of new friends!! At the end of each class, you will have a chance to mingle and dance with each other and try out all the new moves you just learned to authentic jazz music from 30s and 40s!!
Although drop ins are welcome, we highly recommend to attend all 4 classes to learn various steps of swing dancing so that you will be comfortable on the social dance floor. Besides, there is a big discount by signing up for the whole month so please take advantage of it!!
Classes are taught by very experienced and friendly instructors.
Space is limited and only advance purchase will guarantee your spot! Looking forward to dancing with you!

School Notes:
OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. QED has coffee, tea, soda, beer & wine plus snacks and pre-made wraps and sandwiches available.
Refund Policy
- We require at least 8 business days notice before a class in order to issue a refund less 5% cancellation fee and there are no transfers to future classes allowed.
- Tickets are transferable meaning we will allow anyone to take your place in class, so check around with your friends to see if someone else would like your spot.
In case of bad weather, classes WILL always take place unless the subway system is closed down. If you have issues traveling, please keep this in mind when you purchase your ticket. If the school do cancel for an emergency, we will try to reschedule the class on the same day of the week at the same scheduled time as soon as possible. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, we will refund you the price of your seat.

Instructors were sweet and light-hearted but the space was far too small for such an enormous turnout, which is very encouraging but also just made it real tight. No one's fault, but a bigger space would greatly improve the class I think!
