Wildcrafted Body Butters, Lip Balms & Scrubs

Come join in the fun and learn to make a variety of beautiful bath and body products: healing salves and balms, body scrubs, and body butters! This is a great class for massage therapists, spa owners, bath and body company owners, and anyone who wants to make incredibly good-for-your-body products.

As a class we'll make a batch of luscious body butters - whipped up nice and light! Body butters are wonderful for massages and for dry skin. They are made differently than creams and lotions. You'll love the price markup on these products if you make natural skincare to sell. If you don't have a business, you'll love the money saving benefit of making your own bodycare products.

You'll learn to formulate and create your own body scrubs. We will discuss the best packaging options for scrubs and each product we make this evening as well as how to properly label your indie beauty products.

Next, we'll formulate a batch of lip balms as we work with healing, infused herbs. We will discuss the essentials of formulating, healing properties of plant oils, herbs and botanicals.

This is a hands-on class. If you have an existing bath and body business, you'll love how these products boast great markups. You can cross-sell these with the rest of your line to your customers.

We'll be making distinctively different formulations, and students will take home the following:

This class is open to beginner through advanced. Students will receive a class handout that includes instructions, formulas and a valuable list of my favorite places to buy supplies and equipment.

Please bring a bag to transport the finished products you'll be taking home.
