What you'll learn in this kids art class:
This fall we’re excited to be offering a varied arts program for our young artists. In our children’s art classes, we’ll explore the basics of art in our warm, nurturing environment, where everyone is an artist!
Children will learn to use various mediums – paint, pencil, cray pas, watercolor, and more. We’ll also learn about collage, printmaking, sculpture, plaster, and papier mache.
Our kids will develop their drawing skills and learn to draw and paint from still life or a photograph.
The most creative class in town for the youngest artists! Children will work in different mediums learning the basics of art, while completing a finished project each week. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver, whom we encourage to bring their creativity with them as well and fully participate in the fun.
At Kids at Art, we’ve got art classes for everyone!
For in-studio workshops:
- Schedule subject to change due to COVID-19 conditions and NYC regulations.
- All sanitary precautions will be taken.
- All students will be given their own set of art supplies each day and will not share.
- No adults will be permitted inside the studio besides the instructors with the exception of 2 – 4 year olds who must be accompanied.
- All adults/caregivers and children over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated and wear masks in the studio.
Refund Policy
- A full refund will be given for cancellations made 1 business day prior to the first class less a $50 cancellation fee.
- A pro-rated refund will be given prior to the second class less a $50 cancellation fee.
- There will be no refunds or credits after the second class.
Two make-up classes will be allowed per semester. Please check the schedule to find other classes with the same age-group and make a reservation.
For Holiday, Spring & Summer Workshops
Full refund, less $50 cancellation fee available 3 weeks prior to the first day of the session. No refunds after that.
Kids at Art reserves the right to cancel your reservation if your child’s behavior proves detrimental to the health, safety and progress of other children.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
