Description

This class provides a strong foundation in The Barrow Group approach and acting tools while introducing students to the craft of on-camera performance. Through script analysis, scene study, and monologue work, students learn how to create truthful, specific, and engaging performances for film and television.

Designed for young actors at the beginning of their training, the class emphasizes storytelling, imagination, collaboration, and the development of practical acting skills. Students are introduced to the same core tools and techniques used by the professional actors who train and perform at The Barrow Group.

This class teaches The Barrow Groups unique approach to acting and introduces students to the same tools that our adult professional actors use in their training and work.

Whether a student is new to acting or looking to build on previous experience, this class provides a supportive and creative environment in which to develop confidence, technique, and a love of performance.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable (unless the school cancels the class).

Commitment is for the duration of the session. There are no credits or refunds for individual missed classes. If you discontinue any class before the ending date of the session, you forfeit your fee.

If you need to cancel a full class session (the full 6, 8, or 10 week class) for any reason, you must notify us by email at [email protected] at least 8 business days before the registered class start date, and we will apply a credit to your account for a future class. Credits are valid for one-year.
If a student wishes to transfer to a different class, they must notify us by email at [email protected] at least 8 business days before the first day of the registered class. No transfers will be allowed after this.

A student may not transfer to a different class once a class has begun.

The school reserve the right to change teachers at any time.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
