In this one-day beginner woodworking class, you will learn how to carve a spokeshave handle customized to your hands from professional woodworker Luis Rosado. You can choose the handle shape that works for you, and the type wood based on how you'd like it to look. After learning and practicing shaping and carving techniques with a band saw, block plane, and hand carving tools, you'll leave the class with a tool that is the right size, shape, and style for your needs. The spokeshave is an essential tool to have for furniture making, boat building, and other woodworking disciplines.
