Description

In this class you will learn the basic weaving patterns that are applicable to Shaker tape, ash splint, vinyl splint and reed chairs and stools. Using either a stool or chair that needs a new seat or a pre-assembled footstool as a base, you'll weave the seat with all natural fiber splint material. You'll leave class with a beautiful hand-woven footstool or reseated chair.

NOTE: Class tuition does NOT include a stool or chair. You can either bring a stool or chair that needs a new seat, or you can purchase an assembled stool (L=14", W=10", H=9") from the school for an additional $30. To do this, please let us know at [email protected].

Refund Policy

Full refunds less a 5% processing fee will be offered for cancellations that occur 32 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program).
Cancellations between 31 and 9 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class.
Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 8 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
