Students will learn how to make scrumbles and use them to make a scarf, afghan or vest.
For freethinking, freewheeling knitters, crocheters and fiber artists.
In this course you will be introduced to the concept of scrumbling, a technique devised by Prudence Mapstone. You will learn to use various fibers and textures in your work and most importantly experience the joy of going with the flow and working without a pattern.
In preparation for the class, students should choose wool, a color palette and make several squares, rectangles and circles.
Bring: crochet hooks and knitting needles.
School Notes: Please note: Materials must be purchased at The Yarn Company before class. All materials will be available there for purchase, and you may contact them directly to find out about cost.
