Engage all of your senses. In celebration of the summer, join us for an exploration of healing dyes and healing scents. In partnership with locally or ethically sourced summer plants like seaweed, rose, violet, saffron, and hibiscus, we will learn how to extract pigment and aroma from the botanical world. Tea blends will also be provided.
Participants will walk away with a custom silk scarf in addition to a perfume blend that embodies summer's palette. You are also welcome to bring your own well loved garment to dye (but like with all natural dyes, the garment must be composed of natural fibers like silk, cotton, hemp, linen, and wool).
Please Note: Wear clothes you do not mind getting blue!
