Description
What you'll learn in this photography class:
In this one-day workshop we will explore how to expand the experience of awareness and integrate our spiritual practice into our art; as well as clarify our approach to choosing appropriate subject matter, helping to make images that are both more personal, powerful and less generic. We will work on cultivating simplicity and making more compelling photographs, supporting the notion that a photograph isn’t ‘taken’ but made. The power of intuition fueled by the balance of contemplation and decisiveness (be mindful/act now) will be explored. This is a challenging invitation to redefine our whole approach to creative expression. Inspiration will be sparked by a balance of photos, meditations, and much more. Learn how the art of photography can nourish your soul and awaken your spirit.
Note: This class is appropriate for all. Only basic knowledge of the camera is required. A photo field trip is included to gardens nearby; handouts will be given. There is a $20 materials fee paid directly to the instructor

- Refunds are available minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 11 business days prior to the first day of the program.
- Course credits are available, minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 3 business days prior to the first day of the program.
*The processing fee for cancellation is $15 for programs costing less than $250, and $35 for programs costing $250 and up.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations less than 3 business days prior to the first day of a program, or if a student does not attend a program. The estimated refund processing time is two to three weeks.
