Class Description
Description
This class is for beginners to advanced students and is intended to introduce the basic materials and processes of jewelry making. This class is for a maximum of 6 students.
Beginners will move through a series of core projects to build foundations:
- Piercing by Sawing
- Textured Ring
- Bezel Setting
- Cold Connection
- Soldering- Chain with Toggle Clasp
- File Ring
- Appliqué Jewelry
- and Hollow Forms
These projects will take a series of sessions to complete. Completion of projects will vary based on your designs and how quickly you pick up techniques. Upon completion, a curriculum will be created specific to your design style and technical direction.
Intermediate students entering the class will have a curriculum created specific to their needs.
Advanced students are welcome to use time for individual projects while overseen by instructor. Learn the technical and problem solving skills necessary to create your own jewelry designs from drawings to finished pieces.
Important Notes:
- You may not register for multiple class days and times. If you have selected the Tuesday class please only select Tuesday dates.
- Please be advised that you will be notified prior to the start of class which dates have been accepted. Priority enrollment is given to those who have enrolled in more classes.
- Each class session does have a make up class following the last class. The make up class is only for those enrolled in a full session.
- Saturday class is a series of 6 classes 3.5 hours. Please check following dates prior to registration for Saturdays. Saturdays does not offer a makeup.
- Price does not include the cost of basic tool kit and materials. An additional fee of $10 will be collected on the first day of class for a studio materials.
- A confirmation email will be sent upon registration with a supply list. Once basic tools are purchased you can purchase tools a la carte. Material costs will vary based on the type of metal and materials you choose to work with such as brass, copper, sterling silver, stones etc.
Refund Policy
Withdraws from Classes, DIY's, Create with Me, and Workshops:
- 8 business days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund for the class minus a 10% processing fee.
- If cancellation occurs 4-7 business days prior to the class, we will provide a 50% refund.
- Cancellations 3 business days or less receive a 25% refund.
- Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or or cancellations made 1 business day before the class starts.
Transfers to another Classes, DIY's, Create with Me, or Workshops are not eligible 8 business days prior to start date.
Monies are not transferable to hand made art jewelry.
We do not refund tuition for classes that students miss due to their own circumstances.
11 week Classes
Make up's are only provided if there is an open seat in another class. Make up classes are not guaranteed unless the cancellation was due to studio's fault or weather conditions. One Makeup will be provided one week after classes end. Saturday Classes have no makeup.
We reserve the right to cancel or discontinue any class, in which case you may choose to receive a refund, apply the class credit towards a different course, or receive a tuition credit for future use. Tuition credits are valid for up to one year. Refunds will be issued within 30 days.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

If the rooms are “C” please walk thru the breezeway towards the “E” tower. E511 should be close to an elevator and when the store is opened, a sign is right outside the door.
