What you'll learn in this gold class:

Start at the beginning of how to properly alloy and prepare your 22k gold, then go on to the techniques to make gorgeous high karat gold jewelry.

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Tools and Materials

You will need one ounce of .9999 fine gold (you can get more if you are feeling flush) You will need CASH to buy your Gold
Bring your basic metalworking tools and anything you need (except gold) you can buy from us, like a new alloying block, silver, copper, etc.
Basic Metalworking Tools-Scissors, chain and round nose pliers, files, sandpaper, tweezers, dividers, soldering blocks, ruler, Sharpie marker, silver solders, dowels, 2 dwt. fine silver for alloying, etc.
The studio has these tools to share so don’t bother bringing them: Saw blades and frames, hammers, tripods large mandrels

Refund Policy

Refund less 5% cancellation fee is available if cancellation request comes in 11 business days or more before the class starts.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

This was a fantastic course. I learned a lot about how to take 24 gold, alloy it to 22k and 20k. I'm now not hesitant to work with gold. The instructors are very knowledgeable and were extremely helpful. The studio is clean and very easy to work in.
