Glass Implosions
I've taken a few classes at Brooklyn Glass and every one of them has been great. The instructors are obviously knowledgeable and do a great job teaching and helping everyone along with the projects, while still letting the students make their pieces their own way. Glass Implosions was awesome! Learned how to do a technique I've always admired in stores. Would totally recommend this and all their other classes. -

Sculpting with Solid Glass
Very nice demonstrations. David was attentive and clear in his instruction. Loved being given the extra freedom to practice the techniques he showed however I wanted. Very different than the typical classes that have all students make the same thing at the same time. Loved it and would definitely do this again. -
Filled with Fire: Bottle Vessel Vase
The teacher was great! I made mini vessels, and mini goblets! ! I learned a lot in 1 class. -
Flameworking Fridays
Terrific intro to flameworking! After going over the safety issues, we watched a quick demo of how to use the torch to melt colorful rods of glass and make a bead. We learned a few techniques to embellish our work and were able to make multiple pieces of our own. Some made mini sculptures, faces, hearts and other objects too. The studio is very friendly and laid back and the staff is super helpful!
