Description

Does your boat need restoration and renovation, but you're unsure how to begin? This practical, hands-on class focuses on both structural repairs and aesthetic finishing work on fiberglass vessels. Students develop essential skills in safe fiberglass handling, proper resin application, and professional finishing techniques while working on actual boats regularly maintained and used by the sailing school program at HRMM.

This course emphasizes practical skill development and hands-on application. Throughout the class, you will develop competency in damage identification and assessment, comprehensive repair planning, mold and form creation, surface preparation and finishing, proper resin application and saturation techniques, safe materials handling, sanding and leveling, and professional gelcoat application and finishing.

All necessary materials and supplies are provided for your use, and no prior experience is required to participate.

Refund Policy

Full refunds less a 5% processing fee will be offered for cancellations that occur 32 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program).
Cancellations between 31 and 9 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class.
Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 8 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
