Cold Process Organic Hand-Made Soapmaking
This hands-on workshop will take you step by step through cold-process soap-making, from choosing ingredients to curing and packaging. You’ll learn how to make creative designs using swirls and natural colours, and formulate soaps designed to control or alleviate skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis and eczema.
Our materials will include organic base and carrier oils, butters, essential oils, natural exfoliants and herbs (Dead Sea salt, zeolite, sea kelp, poppy seeds, oatmeal, etc.) and natural soap colorants, such as charcoal, cocoa and turmeric.
Note:
A $25 fee for materials and an instructional DVD is payable to the instructor.
This course is a requirement for the part II, Hot Press Soapmaking workshop

- Refunds are available minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 11 business days prior to the first day of the program.
- Course credits are available, minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 3 business days prior to the first day of the program.
*The processing fee for cancellation is $15 for programs costing less than $250, and $35 for programs costing $250 and up.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations less than 3 business days prior to the first day of a program, or if a student does not attend a program. The estimated refund processing time is two to three weeks.
