Description

This is a 5-day Instructor Led Training (ILT) course that targets the needs of IT professionals who take part in evaluating, planning, deploying, and operating Office 365 services, including its identities, dependencies, requirements, and supporting technologies. This course focuses on skills required to set up an Office 365 tenant, including federation with existing user identities, and skills required to sustain an Office 365 tenant and users.

Additionally, this course has been recommended by Microsoft to prepare for the exams 70-346 and 70-347. You need to pass both exams in order to receive the brand new MCSA: Office 365 certification.

Windows Azure and Office 365 are required or used as part of the lab for this course, which may not be available in all countries.

Intended Audience

IT professionals who take part in evaluating, planning, deploying, and operating the Office 365 services, including its dependencies, requirements, and supporting technologies. They should have experience with the Office 365 Admin Center and an understanding of Exchange Online, Lync Online, SharePoint Online, Office 365 ProPlus, and Windows Azure Active Directory. This includes experience with service descriptions, configuration options, and integrating services with existing identity management and on-premises infrastructure to support the business requirements of an organization.

  • Provision SharePoint Online Site Collections
  • Configure Exchange Online and Lync Online for End Users
  • Plan for Exchange Online and Lync Online
  • Course Prerequisites for 20346: Managing Office 365 Identities and Services (MCSA: Office 365)
  • Knowledge of Cloud-based service concepts, Active Directory Directory Service, overview of Office 365 and its component services, TCP/IP network routing, Domain Name Services (DNS), X.509 Certificates, Firewall ports
  • Experience with using Windows PowerShell, administering Office 365 with Office 365 Admin Center, working with virtual machines, using Remote Desktop

Refund Policy

A student who cancels within 7 days of signing the enrollment agreement but before instruction begins receives all monies returned with the exception of the non-refundable registration fee.

Thereafter, a student will be liable for:

  • The non-refundable registration fee of $100 plus
  • The cost of any textbooks or supplies accepted plus
  • Tuition liability as of the student's last date of physical attendance
If Termination Occurs

  • Prior to or during the first week - 0% Penalty
  • During the second week - 25% Penalty
  • During the third week - 50% Penalty
  • During the fourth week - 75% Penalty
  • After the fourth week - 100% Penalty

The failure of a student to notify CourseHorse in writing of withdrawal may delay a refund of tuition.
