Those of us who are committed to spiritual growth often turn to the written page as a place for personal awakening. In dialogue with our writing self, we’re able to explore our deepest questions, investigate our darkest shadows, and articulate our boldest visions.
In this transformational, one-day workshop for writers of all levels, students will learn to use writing as a path of insight and self-realization, This opens pathways to creativity, deepened relationships, and greater clarity on the path of everyday life. When used a wisdom practice, expressive writing can serve as your most trusted confidante, mindfulness teacher, and therapeutic guide, and is every bit as potent as meditation, yoga, or prayer.
Known for his penetrating work with students, Matousek guides participants through a series of enlightening exercises in radical truth-telling and self-inquiry. The essence of his teaching is: When you tell the truth, your story changes. When your story changes, your life is transformed.

- Exercises designed to illuminate purpose and meaning in everyday life
- How to develop an ongoing, transformative writing practice

For Single Evening Events, Series, Half-Days and Mini-Workshops, Walking Tours, Single-Event Webinars or O’Cast™ Recordings, there are no refunds or course credits for these offerings.
For Full Workshops, Ongoing Courses and Webinars and Online Courses:
- Refunds are available minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 11 business days prior to the first day of the program.
- Course credits are available, minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 3 business days prior to the first day of the program.
*The processing fee for cancellation is $15 for programs costing less than $250, and $35 for programs costing $250 and up.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations less than 3 business days prior to the first day of a program, or if a student does not attend a program. The estimated refund processing time is two to three weeks.
