Practicing mindful awareness in educational settings supports self-regulation, self-knowing, and metacognition while enhancing attention and decreasing stress.
In this experiential workshop, you will practice mindful awareness and will learn activities to use in your virtual and socially distanced classroom to support classroom instruction, community building, and social-emotional learning. Practicing mindful awareness can support ourselves and the children we care for as we plan for the end of this unprecedented school year. For teachers, administrators, parents, caregivers, child life specialists and museum educators.
*This synchronous workshop meets online Eastern Time.
Focus on: Ages 4 - 11
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
