  • Exactly what I needed! I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out my new site's control panel and WordPress coding. The instructor covered everything from registering domains, navigating the control panel, and of course, building through WordPress. The final day was extremely helpful as well, as he walked us through the source coding for all of the site's components.

    Steven Newman, Was a terrific professor. He has real working knowledge of how to put together your own website by using wordpress. I liked that he showed us real life examples he is working on for other clients and that he is a working wordpress Art Director/designer in the field. I learned so much by taking this class and now have my own online porfolio website that looks amazing. If you are interested in putting together your own website, a shop, your online portfolio or blog take this class! You will have an amazing website by the end and he will take the time to show you how. He is patient and has a very dry sense of humor. I really enjoyed taking the class with Steven and will also be taking the class he teaches for UX UI development. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning about wordpress and how to put together a beautiful, professional looking website.

The instructor was clear and concise and accomplished a lot in a short time. He did promise to send us a link to the slide presentation so we wouldn't have to take copious notes. That hasn't arrived yet, but the class was only one day ago, so I'm hopeful that the link will come.

The discussion flowed very easily and he helped me understand everything, even things i thought i knew. It has definitely made me take a step back & slow down when it comes to my site. I took a lot of of this class and plan on applying it to my current job. They also provided coffee, water, and snacks. Which was greatly appreciated. We got 1 hour lunch around noon. Its in the middle of 14th st union sq. so there are plenty of food options. - **I Wish there was an extension to this class :)

  • Terry, the instructor I had is great! He improved everyone's wordpresses dramatically with plug ins, then taught some general wordpress theme customization tools (including html and css), then spent time catering to everyone's specific needs to fix problems with each person's wordpress. No one can properly teach all the ins and outs of such a complex program in 2 hours, but he covered as much as he could, giving you the tools to continue teaching yourself.
