In this series of four short workshops, Aimee Rinehart of First Draft, one of the leading fact-checking organizations in news will guide you through the most accessible techniques for investigating people, discovering verifying and ethically reporting problematic content online.
This workshop is meant for journalists, investigators and anyone interested in research tips and techniques to fact-check your own work, verify your reporting and avoid embarrassing errors.

Cancellations made at least 2 business days in advance of the class will be honored with a refund less 5% cancellation fee.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.

On weekdays, student should go to 219 West 40th Street. All students must go directly to the third floor where our security staff will direct to the specific classroom. On Saturdays and Sundays all students must enter at 230 West 41st Street (our 40th Street entrance is closed most weekends).
