What you'll learn in this song writing class:

Creating Comedy Songs is for anyone who is excited to learn or refine their skills in comedic songwriting. This class will help you understand different ways (both musically and lyrically) to approach writing your comedy song. We’ll look at examples of songs that will help you think about the best way to get your comedic topic across. We will learn how to use structure in a way that feels the most freeing for you!

This class aims to give you the tools to use when writing, while appreciating the craft and hard work that can go into songs as dumb as these. By the end of this class, you’re going to be so pumped you know how to create beautiful melodies about dumb topics such as “loving the tickle monster!”

Prep: Come in with an idea of what you want to write about while having a basic understanding of how to play music.

This class does not end in a class show.

Refund Policy

Class payments are non-refundable.

In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.

In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
